Exciting History of the Monkey D Luffy

Monkey D Luffy is the main protagonist of the manga and anime series One Piece. One Piece is one of the greatest anime. One piece is part of Big 3 anime. He is a young pirate who sets out on a journey to find the legendary treasure known as “One Piece” and become the Pirate King.

As a child, Luffy is inspired by the pirate “Red Haired” Shanks and his crew to set out on his own journey and form his own pirate crew. He gains the power of the “Gomu Gomu no Mi,” a Devil Fruit that gives him the ability to stretch his body like rubber.

Monkey D Luffy is the son of Monkey D Dragon and his mother’s identity is still unknown. His father is the biggest criminal in the world. And Luffy’s grandpa is the vice-admiral of marine. Luffy was born in the clan “D” This clan is feared by the whole world. As well as the clan “D” is also known as the sworn enemy of god.

Besides that Luffy’s dream is to be the greatest pirate, in other words, he wants to be the pirate king. In anime, he is introduced in episode 1 and For his journey to be pirate king, he sets sail into the sea and searches for friends who also had the same determined dream as him.

He used to live in a windmill village. As being pirate king he leaves the village. He needs to find a treasure named “One Piece” which is left by the late pirate king “Gol D Roger”. One piece was located on the last island of the world which is called “Laugh Tale”. Luffy made a new friend whose name was “Coby”. Luffy saves Coby from a pirate named Alvida.

Alvida was a cruel pirate who enjoyed torturing innocent people. After beating Alvida coby helps Monkey D Luffy to find his comrades for adventure. Coby takes the name of Roronoa Zoro. Roronoa Zoro is an extremely strong man. But unfortunately, roronoa was the pirate hunter. After making many requests Zoro accepts the demand for Luffy to be a pirate in exchange for saving his life.

Roronoa Zoro officially joins the pirate group Luffy as a swordsman. The sword skills of Zoro were very interesting. And his dream is to be the world’s strongest swordsman. Luffy and Zoro both started their journey in the sea. They both reach Conomi island where they find another subordinate. Her name was Nami. Nami is a beautiful woman who became the navigator of the Luffy group.

Their dream of her is to draw a map of the world. The hat Luffy wears is precious to him. That hat was given to him by one of the greatest pirates named Red-haired Shanks. Luffy respects Shanks as his idol. If someone dares to destroy a hat of Luffy they will face the anger of Luffy. The group Luffy was named Straw Hat Pirates.

There is a scar on his face of luffy which is caused by the knife by himself. He ate the mysterious fruit called “Devil Fruit” which gives him superhuman power after eating it. Luffy eats Gum Gum no mi fruits which gives him the ability of rubber. Luffy can stretch all the body parts and fill the air in them. In simple language, he got the ability of rubber and ballon.

Luffy accidentally eats devil fruits. When he was in the restaurant he got hungry and ate it. Eating the devil fruits costs a big price for those people who wants adventure in the sea. After eating devil fruits they can’t swim in the water and they become extremely weak against the water, especially the seawater.

After recruiting names in straw hat pirates Luffy got a new comrade whose name was Ussop. Ussop was a big liar but his snipping skills were impressive. He had a dream to be the bravest warrior of the sea.

For the journey to become pirate king, Luffy fought many powerful enemies and got victory upon them. A friend of ussop named Kaya was very kind. She gave Luffy a new beautiful ship which was named “The Going Merry”.

Luffy and his friends became too much happy to get a new ship and a new snipper in the group. Continuing their journey they all reach the sea restaurant called Barite. Luffy found a new comrade. Whose name was Sanji? Luffy became a nice friend of Sanji also.

In the way of barite, the restaurant name leaves the crew. After listening to that luffy became sad and angry. Luffy goes in the way where the name lies. After reaching the place of the name they find the truth about nami and decide to help her and take a fight against a fish man called “Arlong”.

Arlong was so strong and his bounty was also high. Luffy somehow defeats him and after defeating the long name re-joined the crew. All crew found that there is a bounty on their head of Luffy.

They all became surprised that its bounty of Luffy was 30 million berries which were written with “Dead Or Alive”. Luffy became happy after seeing his own bounty posture. All world governments paid attention to Luffy. After the re-joining of Sanji, they got Sanji as a cook. Traveling along they go toward the drum kingdom in search of the doctor because Nami was sick.

Luffy suffers any hardship for the sake of their name at last Luffy takes his precious friend to the hospital and cures her disease. Dr. Kureha saved the name but the disciple of Kureha was also a great doctor he was not human but a reindeer who was able to talk with humans because of devil fruit. And that reindeer’s name was “Chopper”. Luffy made him join straw hat pirates.
